These Terms govern your use of the iSpendBit app ("the App"), operated by Wao App Studios ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in Nigeria, and you must comply with all applicable laws. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
Your wallet is self-custodial. Your recovery phrase and private keys are stored, encrypted, only on your device. We cannot recover them. If you lose your recovery phrase or your device, your funds may be permanently lost. You are solely responsible for keeping your recovery phrase safe and secret.
Buy and sell transactions are provided by a licensed third-party payment processor. That processor performs identity verification, collects and pays out fiat, and sets its own rates, fees, limits, and terms. Your use of that service is subject to the processor's own terms and privacy policy. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, the processor's services.
Crypto transactions cannot be reversed. You are responsible for verifying all details (addresses, amounts, networks) before confirming. Funds sent to a wrong or incompatible address may be lost permanently. Network (gas) fees are paid by you and are non-refundable.
The App does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Crypto assets are volatile and carry risk, including total loss of value. You transact at your own risk.
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion, and not to attempt to interfere with or misuse the App or our systems.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, including for maintenance. Buy/sell availability depends on the payment processor and may vary.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wao App Studios is not liable for any loss of funds, data, or profits, or any indirect or consequential damages, arising from your use of the App, the loss of your recovery phrase, blockchain conditions, or the acts or omissions of the third-party payment processor.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
